Hiking the wild, following secluded trails, they believe they’ve found true paradise. But when the pair stumble across a group of frightened hikers, discussing the horrifying murder of another newly-wed couple on the island. Cliff and Cydney begin to question whether or not they should turn back. Unsure if they should continue on, or flee now. They join up with two other couples thinking they’ll be safe together as a group, but soon after things begin going terrifyingly wrong. Now far away from civilization, or any rescue attempts. Everyone begins to look like a threat, and nobody knows which to trust. Paradise has just become hell on earth as a brutal battle for survival begins.

But when Jessica Bard (Catherine Reitman) – Ryden’s college nemesis steals that perfect job right from under her feet, she’s forced to move back to her childhood home. Stuck with her eccentric family, a stubborn do-it-yourself dad (Michael Keaton), an overly thrifty mum (Jane Lynch), a politically incorrect grandma (Carol Burnett), and a very odd little brother (Bobby Coleman), along with a stack of rejected job applications. Ryden starts to feel like she’s going nowhere fast, and the only upside is spending time with her best friend “Adam” (Zach Gilford), and running into her hot next-door neighbour “David” (Rodrigo Santoro). But if Ryden’s going to survive life as a post graduate, it may be time to come-up with a new plan.

Enabling people who own them to experience life’s many pleasures from the comfort and safety of their own home. Then a murder takes place which puts a question mark over “if the Robots can be trusted” at all.
